Hello,
I am about to swap in a G260 into my automatic '89 325is.
Transmission: 250.0.1346.90
Car: '89 325is, Motronic M20
My problem now is that I cannot get my hands on the stock dual-mass flywheel (part #11221706573). The single-mass "i" flywheel (part #11221706575) is also backordered. I'm trying to find alternatives, but I really just don't know enough about these transmissions to make a move with any confidence. I've gone through these forums to find an answer and end up only getting more confused since each situation is a little different. I see there is a single-mass conversion kit from Valeo, but I've read that it only works on eta cars and not the "i" cars.
If anyone can recommend me a flywheel and clutch combination that works and is available (or has a dual mass flywheel they're looking to sell), I'd really appreciate it!
Note: I'm not looking for a super light flywheel or anything like that - this car is my daily so I'd like something that is smooth enough to drive around town no problem.
