    And another M30 swap begins

    Hey everyone i started my swap about to weeks ago nd i could tell u one thing it really is a PITA to do but also fun:D The motor is from a 91 535i auto nd is going into an 87 3 series. Ive been guarding this site since i started my swap so please believe me when i say i got tons of questions for all u 335ers will post more pics later on today to show my progress

      '72 Firebird
      '10 Prius

        lol i was comparing them to my new h&r race the two red ones are for the front suspension nd the black one is the one that came off the car sorry for the confusion

                      2.93 might be too tall for most people unless you have a turbo. On the other had I have a 3.73 LS and it's a bit too short. I can easily start out in second gear, and often do.

                        Yep. I think 3.25 or 3.46 is the most ideal. Not tall and not short. I tried 3.73, then 3.25 and settled on 3.46 myself.

                        Now if you do a lot of long distance/freeway driving 2.93 might be just right for you..and so on.
