Hell no. Still notching the subframe and having it re-enforced, will be done by the end of the week. For those who are interested, notching the subframe gave about an inch and a half down, and just from moving it down, that gave a lot of room in the back direction. No pics yet, but still sticking to my original plan, and the fan is fitting.Comment

i just want to say if it is done properly there is no reason a modified subframe cant have the same strength as the original stamped piece.
that being said i doubt a highschool kid with a cutoff wheel will get it right.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
