Want to get my b34 when it is running under 15 seconds. Just trying to figure out what mods to do to the engine to reach this goal. And I know the b35 is better thank you. lol Using Car and Drivers road test article I found of a 635is as a baseline. They where able to do the 1/4 mile in 16.0 seconds at 85 mph.

    Post up more times please.

you can tell a fair about Hp by just looking at weight and trap speed.

they curve fit data from real cars and find an equation to predict one variable from knowing the other two.

there are three calculators Fox, Hale, LRT using slightly different equations but in your case the engine was producing

181-195bhp by looking at each and comparing

        1/4 mile

when my firs car was done, and and the two after, the best time was with factory springs and shocks I am thinking because of the weight transfer.
My best time was b34 G265 BMP Chip 2:93S gears and enough cluch sliping for the take off 13.9 @ 101mph.
        I have tried 3:91open,3:73S,2:93S.

any questions PM me I work alot,
this next year I am hoping to try a new combo 86 body+B35+big bore throttle body +Jim c chip+G260+3:46S+ 215/40/17

My totally standard M30 ran the quarter in 14.5 @ 94.89mph

Facelift car weighing 1300KG and a 3.73 diff.

Video, its a bit shaky as it was my young lad filming but you get the idea.

Im now running a B10 M30 and it went up the strip not running right (237hp) and still did 14.2 quarter, its been on the rollers since then to find the fault and ended up putting down 257hp but ive yet to go back up the strip.:)
