where can i find headers for an m30b35 swapped e30?

Hey guys soon I'm gonna undertake a bit of a power upgrade for my friends m30b35 e30.
I have a Miller w.a.r chip and Maf ready to go on. I'm soon gonna order an ie 288 cam, ie double valve springs and ie ss spring retainers. I'll also re-surface the head abit to bring the cr up a bit at my work.
I would like to finish it off with a nice set of headers. We can make a custom set in house at my work but the best price my boss can do is $1000. Which is a bit steep for his budget.
Any of you guys ever purchased a set for yourselfs at a reasonable price?

Still looking at options and have yet to find a simple bolt on solution. From what I have gathered the no longer available Bavauto headers will fit with some work as will some Stahl models. Anything can be made to fit with enough work but as for an easy clean install who knows.

I wouldn't mind modifying it a bit, our cars are rhd also so its never is gonna be an easy fit. It's just our manifolds we make are very pricey just because we are designing and making them from scratch on the car and it takes time. And my boss for some reason refuses to make it out of anything but stainless steel. Maybe he likes to see only top notch manifolds leaving our shop just like revshift and 666fab do.
I like the idea of making low demand high cost manifolds but for my friend he just can't afford it as big of a discount I try and get for him.
What are your thoughts on the other bits I'm planning on doing for him do you reakon they will make the difference?

Racecar specialises in supplying the automotive industry with world class digital solutions including web, software, app and graphical design

You might also try these. They are the only two companies I know of that make RHD M30 headers for an E30. I haven't had any experience with either of them but it might be worth checking out.

I don't see why they couldn't fit on a lhd e30. You guys haven't got steering shaft clearance issues to worry about.
They're still pretty expensive. My mate is better off getting one done at my shop since he won't have to pay shipping. They're still pretty good. The second link that sells the btb headers I've been told make one of the best flowing exhausts for a rhd bmw. But I thought btb shut down years ago because of the Chinese makers started copying off their designs and stole their customers.
But I really appreciate those links you've put up danderson.

I see no reason why they wouldn't work on a LHD car. You would have more room without the steering column in the way. I was planning on buying one of the BTB headers for my car when I finally get around to doing an M30 swap next winter.

It looks like BTB is still up an running. They have their January 2012 newsletter out.

no, RHD manifolds will not work on LHD cars. If you tried, your exhaust would be pointing out of your front valance.

This probably doesn't help the Australian guys, but there may be an option coming in the states. Ron Perry ( http://www.motorsportlegends.org/ ), Groma Fab, and Vintage BMW Source have merged and one of the products being developed is a header for the E30/M30.

Ignore the troll comments at the beginning of the first link.

He probably thinks the engine is tilted the opposite way on the RHD cars.
That's the only way his assumption would even make sense.
