an den an den an den an den!

Sorry dudes, I got super busy with studying, I'm working on being an insurance adjuster, and recently found out instead of coming out to california in October for training, We are leaving in about 3 weeks

So I'll be bringing this swap and meeting some of you folks hopefully!

Tomorrow OR thursday is the next update
    install shocks
tap in rear main seal a tiny bit more
swap Z3 rack in with akg spacer kit
grind down socket to fit g265 flange nut
reseal g265 output, input, selector rod seal
swap g265 flange for g260 flange
Make new hole for battery relocation since early models dont have the provision for one

    Need/cant afford/junkyard search list:
    2 tires
    e36 325i driveshaft
    02 sensor

The N54 talk marshall is something I've wanted to do for a few years now, did a lot of research on it, and never found funds, but now I have to sell my e34 535i, so that plus selling a megasquirt 2 and good n tight manifold would put me in a decent price range for a motor swap.

You need everything, EVERYTHING, keys, ignition, all the ECU's, steering wheel, I-Drive, cluster, engine, tranny, I've heard you even need the onboard display from that car, BUT also heard you can give it a dummy 12V signals for each idrive function except for those of use, that way you dont need to screen, or find a setup without that shit.

My plan would be to get the swap started before it went into the car.

found 2 full on parts cars here locally and damn they were going cheap with all the gear I wanted, so I know it will happen. I just need to figure if I want to boost an m30 or start over lol.

I've done a fair share of digging, and exhaust side of the e30 bay needs some cutting love apparently, and most people are using the full ignition switch keys and everything from the n54.. Essentially you need a full parts car at disposal, eyes and everything.

There are options to use aftermarket but it's costs a hell of a lot of money.

None of that included, and no knock or anything, just zero oil pressure.. no clue really. says it still runs! lol

Thats my next swap I may try.. but thats down the road.. and assuming I dont want to turbo an m30.. which is possible. But I would need to strike a deal with someone with a wrecked one and take everything from it.. from ignition forward..

Studying for right now, looks like I'm leaving sooner than expected, but that means starting my career.
I plan on bringing this car with me so updates will be on a rampage soon, not that theirs a lot left.
