Correct, simply put I just didn't have time between studying, and life. And the FS ad was simply a feeler until the messages started pouring in, I have 3 people interested now, but one has a high bid persay for now

The other reason is because the n54 swap is starting to take shape, and my interest has brought me to a point where I just want to focus on the n54

And just like that, the whole swap is gone to a new owner.

Do you have a thread for the n54 swap?

Not yet I definitely have enough material for a really good starter thread.

I have pictures of the engine in the 08 335i, and taken out.
The 35-45lb ball of wiring has been modified, pinouts identified, and documented. I was able to find the correct diagrams, and removed all but about 5lbs of wiring that can be rolled up in a small beach towel. Electronic key, ews, cas, frm, fuse boxes, cluster, dash wiring harness w/ start button and key slot all there. I have the 6spd gs6-53bz with no clutch setup yet, and almost 3k to spend on other goodies for right now. Looking at clutch kits, turbos, and JB4..

Any questions about it feel free to PM me! I feel bad bumping this thread with non m30 related info :/ my fault.

I'd ditch the jb4 since you won't have the steering wheel controls to switch maps. If you're able to keep the obd2 port then I'd look into the mhd flasher or a Cobb.

Right on paul, oddly enough I have sold the jb4 unit in favor of the development with the free flasher software that is in the works, as long as knock tables are found by the time I want to modify my n54, I'll be golden!

                  SO LONG M30 CROWD!
