Sorry for starting another thread but the other one was getting confusing.
I have a M30B35 that was out of a 91 735i and i am replacing the pistons with CP pistons. The head work will be done by BimmerHeads. I will have a Miller MAF/W.A.R. conversion on it. Free Flow exhaust, and a ported intake and throttle body. I am hoping to make 250hp but ill dyno it when im done and its in the car.
But what i want to do is ask to see if revving the engine to 8000 with all of those modifications to it would be safe. this engine will not see 8000 on a regular basis it is not a race car. But every now and then my friends and i do want to go to a track maybe once or twice every other month. Note: they all have old muscle cars so lol. Please if you have real experiance with these engines with similar specs let me know if 8000 is safe. if not let me know what you think the revs should be at. This is my first build and will take a while for me to complete. I just dont want to destroy it.
