    Spark plug wires

Can anyone give some insight or recommendations on the best wires for an M30B35? Might be interested in buying some used if anyone has some good ones. Thank you!

the aftermarket BAV auto 8mm 'performance' wire reviews have been spotty at best.

when I did my research I found that Bosh, Bremi and Beru work just fine.

I bought Magnecor wires for my ole' M20B25 a few years back and they rock. I will be trying to fit them to my B35 in the next few days, but I'm anticipating they won't be long enough. Extremely good alternative to $$$ stock wires though.

EDIT: The M20B25 wires are plenty long enough for the M30B35 and fit in the stock spark plug wire loom perfectly. However they have a straight connector for the cap, not a right angle-connector. The M30 cosmetic cover will not fit over the M20 wires because of this.

Beru are supposed to be good.

I got a taylor wire kit. you have to cut them to length and put the boots on but the wires are 9.5mm and only 50 ohms of resistance per ft

Stock is fine (or any of the quality after market suppliers of stock replacement wires). BMW use good wires right from the factory. We're not talking about a GM product here :)

I've been happy with the Ireland Engineering performance wires on M20's and M30's.
