Haha! As long as she lets you move to the PNW!

On topic, my car shit out on me yseterday. It was a sad, sad, day. I'm not really sure what the culprit is, but it seems like it is the ECU or a ground (Joy. One of type of failures that you have to blame electrical, because you actually have no idea what could be wrong, ya know?)

    sigh.

Get her runnin' Joe. I drove mine up from Salem to my dad's place in Milwaukie today and it ran like a champ. First really long distance test run. I may drive it to work Monday even with the hood still leaning up against the garage wall and no cooling fan. It's surprisingly docile to drive too. These conversions are not overpowered, they're what a BMW should be.

                          Here are some pics.

                          New +.25 bearings installed.

                          Old Bearings=bad

Engine in minus the radiator and a few other things.

Top View, obviously. Dont talk shit about my lowes intake, it works.

Custom headlight switches. Got tired of the stock ones screwing with my mind.

Molex connector i used for VDO gauges, and the other one is for the tach, mpg, check engine light. Just for a quick disconnect if i need.

                          Gauges.

I may need to tap into your findings to get my tach to work...

What a clean fucking swap. What a great job. When I first swaw the pics I just could not believe it. What a good job Joe, you should be very proud of the work you did, it is truly a work of art imo. I hope mine comes out half as clean as yours did.
