    Not sure about headers or driveshaft
    Everything else is stock 318i stuff. Even brakes.
    Superlow springs but stock shocks.
    Cam is suspected of being aftermarket, lumpy idle
    Stock open diff 3.91
    but goes like hell, lots of fun. This is my first car and was auto m10 when i bought it.

    All I've done is replace gaskets and clean /paint parts
    Keeping as cheap as possible for the moment.

    Other couple things is
    E36 sport seats (w/factory fire extinguisher)
    Nardi steering wheel

    Working on suede headliner and electric sunroof install

    Gonna bring this baby stateside as soon as my time in Germany is over.

    Will post pics once I load them to my computer, my phone doesn't want to let me.

    Built a 318is from the ground up last year. Unfortunately the cammed M42 left me wanting. So, I decided to go the M30 route. Im 19 years old, and literally working my ass of to build my dream car. Its taking a while but it should be driveable by may 2015. This car will be a very lightweight, NO BULLSHIT, all GO, street fighting/autocross car with a muscle car kind of feel. Still Building the engine and prepping the body buttttttt.

    Alpina throttle body modification

    The throttle body modification was done by Alpina in the mid 80's on cars like the B6 2.8. Also on the E30 333i from South Africa. Said at the time to be for better performance.

    Ah I see. Yes it will make turbo piping much easier if you decide to go that route some day. The washer bottle trick is easy though; just get a 325iX reservoir.

    Just curious, why did you relocate the throttle body?
    I'm honestly not sure why the builder did that. It definitely gives lots of room for the washer tank, easy access to spark plugs and such. I think there may have been plans for a turbo, in which case one has a lot of space to make a wild exhaust mani. Judging by the heavy clutch this is probably what was planned.

    Finally. AC, power steering, and windshield washer tank all nestled in there... Look behind the right strut tower and notice the über-expensive (paint matching too) Folgers catch can for the crank breather
