It's been really rare and expensive option, i think it has been available for every 6 cylinder E12, at least here in Europe.

..... is there anyone who can post the answer, so that the next prospective m30 greenhorn doesn't have to stalk Ely/rs3pro4 ?

Whats the difference between the G263 and the G265? Different shift pattern or something?

Why are people so afraid of getting their tailshaft shortened? It really is not that expensive and is always a perfect fit! Shop around guys!

              Time and labor cost.

Drive shaft A : plugs right in, costs $100
Drive shaft B : I already own it, but I have to pay $200 for shortening/balancing

Shopping around is indeed the way to go.

                ok solution that works.

                m30b34
                getrag 260 from a 87 535is
                funks mounts
big guibo 325e driveshaft, whole thing, fits perfect...

                if you can find one
otherwise do what i did... and what i did im not proud of... and will only stay until i can get a big guibo 325e driveshaft... but so far what i did is holding strong with no vibration at all...

but seriously get the 325e driveshaft
