That is the alternator excite wire, it remains blue all the way up to the c101, (battery light on the gauge cluster) just wire to the blue wire on your chassis harness.

Now this is starting to get annoying.
Last time I had the car running was when the battery died. I put it on charge overnight and Mike came over the next day and we welded the exhaust on. When we went to start it, it wouldn't start at all.
What now? All that had changed was the battery had died and we put the exhaust on. Still getting spark, still getting fuel to the rail.
New injectors are in the mail.Byron

Ok, I completely understand your frustration.
When you went to start it straight after putting the charged battery back in did it even turn over? Or did it turn over but not start?
Go back to the wiring at your c101, check the wiring is still connected and all the wires that need power have power and all your earth wires are earthed.

Starter turns the engine, it just doesn't start. The engine will kind of fire on one cylinder just enough to push the starter back in, then it wont stay running. I really don't know what it could be.
It is my e exhaust though- single 2.25. Would too much backpressure prevent it from running? You can feel the exhaust pulses come out the back fairly easily, so its not plugged up.Byron
