I still have the hydra boost setup but i dont really wanna use it i was thinking of putting an elbow on the bottom kind of out of site
go for the bottom, thats what i did and its like its not even there. i went for the middle tho, i would say come out toward the edge a bit more so it doesnt get in the way of the coolant hoses.

FUUUUUCK. Why didnt I think about putting a fitting on for the brake booster? I already installed the intake with new gaskets and some of that indian head sealant. There goes another week waiting for new gaskets

i checked tonight, trans are almost the exact same size as far as the body, maybe half an inch different. Its the output flange that is different in length. The M10 flange is shorter by maybe an inch.

so overall i would say the difference is an inch and a half with stock output flanges, half an inch if you switched flanges

i have both the trans i used and m10 trans sitting in my garage, ill set them next to each other today and get back to you.

The one I'm looking at has ~140 all around.
Warm or cold? Cold compression can be quite a bit lower than warm compression?

Also, is this a US spec B34 8:1 compression block?

What are good compression numbers for an M30 with north of 220K miles? The one I'm looking at has ~140 all around.

Also, if the head is taken off, is there anything I can replace cheaply and easily along with the head gasket? (May as well get a complete gasket kit and go through it.)
Mine was 170+ on all cylinders @ 315k

    factory is 168-175

It's on hold for now, economy is affecting my job so... I have to watch my spending..

It's basically down to ordering the engine mounts/clutch kit/radiator/hoses and getting the exhaust figured out.
