feel like something is missing...power *UPDATE GET SEAFOAM*
If you want a slight bump in power and a bunch more torque, get an m44 crank and some s50 pistons, It'll be a 2.0 with I6 power(if you get the tuning right) and alot more torque, while retaining the nimble feel of the 318is.

wait what? where can I find more information on this? Is this a common thing? I would have seen it, as i spend some time on M42Club sometimes...

I am planning to seafoam in the comming weeks. Hoping this may solve some of the engine noise along with replacing timing chain tensioner. We will see if it free's up any free hp as a side benefit.....
It gained a surprising amount of pep as well as curing a HORRIBLE rattle which I assumed was my timing chain tensioner being bad or a stuck lifter...The engine runs and sounds completely normal now, even on cold start ups.
I will likely change the oil and go through the process again. I'm extremely happy with this and it has re-ignited my vigor to keep prepping this car!
