how low is your oilpan?

    how low is your oilpan?

    mine is about a 2in off the ground, but i also have a skidplate, haven't measured since the installation of the skidplate tho so prob a lil lower now, i do scrape more but i think its more from the angle of the skidplate. i would post pics up but as some of you know new england got hit with a ass ton of snow

          Im about 2 1/2-3 inches off the ground. Ive already gone through one oilpan :( Gonna order a skid plate when my check clears.

              Mine is (flamesuit on) at the stock, BMW factory, specified, preset height from the ground. (At least the M42 car...)

                          lol i am still trying to find out where some blue marks on my oilpan are from i saw them when i put the skidplate on, im going to be out tomarow/today so ill grab my car and take some pics of my car/oilpan/skidplate and i know some of the people on here will hate the shit out of my car

                              At least, when equipped with basic tools, an extra pan & gasket, and oil, you can change it on the roadside.
