whats the difference between the e36 cams and e30 cams anybody knows?

this is a popular question, but never gets answered well. Not much difference at all probably. BTW, E36 head FTW.

So I should be fine just running the e36 head the way it is, with its original valve lifters and cams. I heard that the intake cam has been modified to work withe the e36 intake manifold better, if thats true, then how is it going to work with the e30 intake manyfold? sorry for all these questions, im just trying to figure this out, its hard to find good info about this stuff
