Lol, thanks. Being in the military, I've had to learn to be as concise as humanly possible. Sometimes i have to do crayola pictorial diagrams before people get the picture :)

you can confirm this on www.realoem.com if you pick a 5/95 318ti it will offer you the option of M44 or M42 engine, it was a crossover year.
Thanks for getting back to me on this - that was a perfect, simple, clear and concise answer. You are a champion!

Thanks, i can't wait to get home and basically rebuild the whole damn car. There will def be lots of pics and a dyno run. There's a tuner local to me with a dyno that welded in my adjustable rear subframe bits.

Wow. I remember your post on m42club about the exhaust but totally missed your build thread. This is amazing stuff!

Any reason why you chose the m44 rotating bits vs picking up an m47 crank? Easier to source?

I got it on ebay.de, from these guys: http://www.ebay.com/itm/FOX-AUSPUFF-...item3a704f2b57

the manufacturer's website is www.fox-exhaust.com/us but it looks like the don't have any US distributors yet. once I have it installed I'll post a video. I think I offered them like 550 euro shipped.

No worries man! It's just a growing pile (or 2) of parts right now, but I'm taking a month off when I get home and a lot of that will be spent working on the E30 ;) I reserved a Z4 coupe and 6 laps around the ring for this Sunday (there will be pics 8)) The tires are off and ready for you and I will check my APO again when I get back from Rome.
