    Ok, good to hear...my car has been well taken care of. Hell, I pulled the valve cover off to paint it and the gasket almost looked new! I ordered the one for the lower manifold to block just to be safe. At least if the center one starts leaking, I won't have to take it all apart again...just the upper!
    1991 318is - Daily/weekend track car.

    An on-ramp is a terrible thing to waste...

          Anyone notice after doing this, the heater because extremely hot? I mean if was hot before but damn. Take about 3 mins and its a boiler in my car.

            would anyone happen to have a picture of the modification done? I took one of these engines apart and one of the hoses got lost and can make sense of it.

              Which hose is it? The only two that really need to be the stock ones (and to be honest they really don't) are the vent from the valve cover and the one that you modify to go from the coolant pipe on the block into the head because it's wider at one end than the other.
