A quick video from tuning the other day in the e21. A bit of wheel spin in 1st...

          The sound is awesome...

Yes I can install. Price will be more but nothing crazy really. I am in Bay City...so really close to you.

Send me a PM and we can talk. Being that you are so close I can do any tune adjustments if needed in car.

Any changes made to the compression ratio? Or is this strictly bolt on and go? Also, what turbo would the kit come with?

Yes this is a bolt on and go...no changes with the engine. 9psi of boost on a .48/.48 turbo
Small AR for very quick spool.

The turbo is an imported turbo (read china) at the price listed in the OP. The imported turbos are being used by a ton of people now with very good results. Many of the LSx guys use them and make big power. If you wanted a true garrett turbo that can be done as well but the price will be more.

Absolutely interested, but I'll be straight up, funds will not be available any time soon unless a miracle happens. Hope to see this work out and maybe someday jump on the wagon.

Keep up the great work Jake!

I'm no expert but .48/.48 seems kinda small to me. I know other small displacement cars such as BP even B6 Miatas are using Chinacharger GT2876r turbos with good results and that's a .70/.64 sized turbo. Are our little m42 heads that crappy flowing?

Still very interested regardless and looking forward to updates.

I ran a .63 a/r turbine on the 2002 and while it still was way fun I would have liked it to spool a little sooner. It had a 60 compressor

The 0.48 on my buddies e21 with the m42 is perfect. Spools really quickly and pulls all the way to redline. Stomp on it in 2nd gear and once you are in boost you loose traction without much work. It really transforms the car into a completely different beast.

Taking your word for it man. I'm not as concerned with dyno numbers as I am with driveabilty and usable power. Thanks for the keeping an eye on the thread.
