I just inspected my timing case to notice the plastic, on the chain guide on the left, was separating from the metal. I believe the part number for my guide is 11311247483. I noticed there were two part numbers listed. The other one was 11311247470. This seems to be an all plastic version. It seems that it would be a better alternative since it is one solid piece. Which one should I go with?

No idea on the bolt torque. Can't find those in the Bentley. I have always just used red LocTite on those allen bolts and tightened them to whatever feels right. I know I know...
One VERY important thing to note here. The later model all-plastic rail requires a 45mm bolt at the top. The original one is 40mm and you are guaranteed to strip the top hole if you use the old one. Go find yourself an M6x45 grade 10 or better bolt at a local hardware store. The chances of you stripping out that top bolt even with the 45mm bolt are still high (it has happened to me on both of my engines) and I have had to install helicoils there. You can do it with the rail still installed if you have to, just make sure to have a shop-vac right there when you drill and tap. Using cutting oil also helps keep the metal chips on the bits instead of falling about.
