    1991 318is AC Condenser Hoses

I need two new hoses that goes to the AC Condenser. Anyone know where the best place to get them? I see various options online but I don't know about the reliability of aftermarket brands on these particular hoses. Also, are the condenser hoses all the same size for E30s?

Personally, I would only go OEM. Thats just me and my OCD though.

The m42 e30 has a different hose fitting from the compressor, but the line from the condenser to the dryer is the same. The Behr replacement uses aluminum ends and a skinny hose. Original BMW is burly and metal tipped. I think only BMW makes the compressor to condenser line.

The guy I brought mine to last week said he can bead blast the insides but wasnt sure if they would seal due some corrosion where the orings go so as long as thats not the issue a good AC shop should be able to replace the hose section. Prices seem to range from $50-75/hose and the only reason Im getting mine rebuilt is that the evaporator hoses are either NLA or not in NA.

If all else fails, you could always have a local hydraulic shop fabricate them for you, assuming you have one in your area. Some nicer machine shops can also do this for you.
