    80C? I don't even see that listed when the model is set to an E30 318iS. 88C is the proper OEM version and running an 80C one will still make you run too cool and cause bad mileage and whatnot.

      A question regarding temperature

      Mine is an 85 m10, 318i, only found 80° and I looked everywhere.
      The only place I could find info was a 2002 page that said it used an 80° unit.

          Yeah, sorry. I installed the 80° and it didn't change the idle. It now sits between the first and middle line.

          On the housing of my thermostats its marked for the temperature as the last two numbers for the part number. On your thermostats without housings I don't know, they might be stamped somewhere with a number.
