Help, need Intake stud thats NLA.

    Someone help!

The Stud Bolt I need (#2 in the drawing diagram) (M7X85 - P/N:07129908126) that is causing my intake leak is NLA. How can I get one besides finding one off of a junkyard car?

Photo of location where this stud bolt is found.

Photo of stud bolt, but needs to be longer (M7X85)

Anyone have a m42 engine for parts and willing to sell me the stud bolt and nut?

7mm hardware of any type is pretty uncommon, it is usually a specialized fastener. McMaster doesn't carry any 7mm fasteners.

THIS ^ I don't recall but if they do, it was too short in length.

I dont think that really matters for the intake manifold...it just needs to be strong enough to squeeze the gasket a little and create a seal, I'd use that without hesitation

Yes using the part in the diagram quoted above. It was direct fit and worked perfectly fine. No intake leak thus far. (I finally got to doing this a couple days ago, so fingers crossed)

Sounds reasonable, but I just went with an oem part for better feels. Like nice warm fuzzy feeling. It was cheap too.

Anyways, thanks to all who contributed.
I wish I had taken some photos for good measure, but didn't. :(
