Hi: Can someone tell me what a used 89 m42 engine would cost??? And where could I find one?

the m42 wasnt produced in 89. only from late 90 to late 92. Regardless, a used one well sorted can be had for $300 +/-

I found one in an earlier Canadian car in the junkyard. (88? I forget)
I didn't investigate too far, but is it possible that Canada got them before we did?

That might be right. The car I am looking at is an 89 3181s euro.
