I never asked if I could buy "faster" gas, I wanted to put higher octane gas in my car in an attempt to clean some of the carbon buildup and try to help it run a bit better. My plan was to put half a tank of 101 octane, then half a tank of 93, quit bein an ass to me for bein a new guy on the board and asking a legitimate question.
New guy, I've only been here four months longer, son. That's not how to "clean-out" an engine.

I am ok with putting seafoam in my gas but from experience i dont trust dumping it in the intake.. a ton of black smoke comes out but i am pretty sure all the crap it manages to get out ends up in your cat.

how is this any different if you pour it in your gas. it all burns out the same way, just takes longer

Thats a terrible idea. If it doesn't stall from the massive vacuum leak it will suck in the seafoam way too fast and hydrolock the engine. Use the skinniest vaccum line you can find. Probably the charcoal canister line or pressure regulator.

I didn't mean shove the damn hose into the SeaFoam. I thought any logical person would take a reducer and a piece of hose and put it into the SeaFoam. Personally, I would install an in-line ball valve to control the flow even easier.Comment

Right.
