    Injectors and Vacuum Lines

Before anything is mentioned. I will not be doing the MUTI as I live in Canada and the car will see temps in the -15 C range from time to time.

With that said just want to make sure I have everything I need to replace the vacuum lines as the car has a slight rough start.

    13711734385 - Rubber Boot
    13411721971 - Top ICV Hose
    13411721972 - Bottom ICV hose
13411721907 - Air/Coolant Hose (do I need to drain the coolant to disconnect and replace this?)
    13411721909 - Air Pump Hose
11611717761 - Upper Intake Manifold Gasket
11611734684 - Lower Intake Manifold Gasket
Extra vacuum lines - 5 meters?

The other thing I figured I might as well do is the injectors while I have everything off. Now are the rebuild kits worth it or would it be better to just replace them with something like this:

I'm trying to keep the downtown to a minimum so sending injectors off to be cleaned isn't an option

You need two of -907, and you'll want all of the TB heater hoses/any coolant line under the intake as that was often another reason to do MUTI.

You may also want to do the plastic water pipe/o ring, and expansion tank hose.

One meter of vacuum hose will work if you mean for the small diameter lines, and not as a generic replacement. If not, you'll want 11151717858, and the other (IIRC) two stock vacuum hoses.

Two meters of fuel line is a good idea, and the injector kits with caps, o rings and filters are a nice while you are in there.

Additionally, two throttle body gaskets are a good idea, although you can sometimes get the old ones to go again.

In fairness, I really doubt that you will have an icing issue no matter the temp, and it would be better to rid your car of the problematic mess, but do as you see fit. There was a thread here that covered the temperature ranges/throttle position situations where it occurred, and it was extremely uncommon, perhaps it's worth a search.

Alright, after finally going through the m42club thread looks like you called it and I will be doing MUTI in the end. As I'm in Canada and getting parts quickly doesn't seem likely I want to get everything ahead of time for this. I did a break down and was hoping you could double check to see if I missed anything?

The Numbers numbers are referenced to the diagram to make sure I am selecting the right part for the right line

      Necessary Parts
1- 11511739245 (has larger opening to connect to plastic pipe and can be cut to fit smaller opening on block)
2- 19/32” Vacuum hose or 11727545323 and 11151717858 (Valve Cover Breather Hose)
      13541743261 – Throttle Body Gasket
      11611717761 – Upper Intake Gasket
      11611734684 – Lower Intake Gasket

With just those parts you technically could do the MUTI?

      Recommended Vacuum Lines to Replace
3- 13411721971 (Air hose top of ICV)
      4- 13711734385 (Intake Boot)
      5- 19/32” Vacuum Hose or 11727545323
      6- 19/32” Vacuum Hose or 11727545323
      7- 19/32” Vacuum Hose or 11727545323

      Recommended Cooling Parts
      8- 64211386690 (Hose Inlet
      9- 64211386691 (Return Hose)
      10- 11531709052 (Expansion Tank Hose)
      11- 11531714738 (Plastic Pipe) and 11531709157 (O-ring for pipe)

Other things to do while in there
      Injectors and small hose (16121180409)
      Fuel Line (13311288284)

Necessary: 11511739245, maybe, although it might be stressed once cut down and forced to make that turn, worst case an auto parts store will have something that will work, for vac lines see below

Vacuum lines: ICV hose good but not strictly necessary as you can move the ICV and use straight hose if desired, intake boot good, you only need 1/3 of a meter of 3.5mm vac line and 19/32" could be right for the others, one meter of it, and some plastic 90 or straight through couplers could be handy

Cooling parts: fine, good that you want to do the heater core hoses too

Other things: just 1 meter of 8x13mm injection hose (8mm or 5/16" inner diameter) to do both the small lines under the intake and engine bay soft lines, add at least injector o rings 8x and an injector cap kit in case one falls off

Welp my head is banging against the wall as I can't seem to find anywhere that sells 19/32 or 9/16th's vacuum hoses

Given that you live in Canada and use socialism units instead of FREEDOM UNITS like us Americans, some 15mm (19/32) and 8mm (5/16) hose will be fine. That stuff seems to be fairly readily available all over, even here.

For reference, I can usually walk into my local car parts store and get vacuum hose in these sizes. Vacuum hose is a super common replacement item and I bet most parts shops up there sell it by the meter. Do the stores up by you NOT have it?

I've hit up about 7 stores and called another 5-6 to no avail. I even had an order with someone out in British Columbia but they had to cancel as they didn't have it in stock. If anyone is willing to buy some and ship it, as the eBay seller I found doesn't have delivery date until mid August I'd gladly pay for it!
