Where to buy Getrag 260 Transmission parts

Hello everyone, has anyone ever found a source in NA for getrag parts aside from dealer?
I have a blown third gear synchro and it seems like murder trying to find anyone selling this stuff.

You should be thankful that you can still buy synchronizers from a dealer.

I guess when the old stash is gone, they will be gone forever.

What's the latest on BMW synchros? A few years back,
they were breaking even in 'factory rebuilt' boxes.

I know I'm down on 'BMW Classic' stuff,
but it's been truly wretched in past.

my mentor used to reuse the synchronizers (if still in good shape), when rebuilding old Getrag boxes - he'd flip them over so they were riding in a new place, and they lasted a really long time. FWIW...

I have a consistent third gear grind...Sometimes I had luck rev matching the shift but most of the time not. I suppose I could just get one ring and replace that; bearings and seals are still readily available.
