    325ic auto to manual

    Hi all,
I am a bit confused so before I go an pickup a manual transmission I would like to know if I pickup the right one.
my car is a 1988 325ic convertible automatic production date 11/87. The donor car is a 1990 325i sedan. Will it be ok to take transmission driveshaft and everything else for the conversion. My confusion is really with early and late model cutoff dates especially with the convertible.

    I really appreciate feedback

    I don't see why not.
Both cars should be late models, and without the sensors in the bellhousing.

I'm not aware of any drivetrain differences between a vert and sedan.

There are 2 center support bearings, based on year, but by 11-87, that should be the later style... i think...

      otherwise, yeah, easy.
