I'm doing an automatic > 5spd conversion on my 1989 325i (M20 with a Getrag 260).
I'm using this flywheel:
I'm using this clutch:
These pressure plate bolts: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...16-07119919939
And these flywheel bolts:
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...227805885fwkt/
When I install the clutch and pressure plate to the flywheel, I'm not able to get it to seat flush. There is a gap between the pressure plate and flywheel at every bolt. If I remove the clutch disk and just put the pressure plate up to the flywheel without the clutch disk, it will seat flush.
I noticed that the bolts will not thread all the way through when the clutch disk isn't installed so while the pp is flush, the bolts still have a gap. I'm assuming this means the bolts I have are too long? Has anyone had this issue?
