Help Replacing Center Support Bearing

I disassembled the 2 halfs of the shaft and kept them marked for alignment. I have the new CSB and housing installed onto its shaft oriented like the old one and the clip that holds bearing onto shaft is installed. That is how mine was assembled.

I am confused with what realoem is showing in its diagram.

So mine was missing the dust cover #14 entirely. Can someone familiar with assembly tell me how the dust cover is retained? There isn't room to press the bearing in anymore so I am 99% sure the dustcover would go on after the c clip. Do the 2 shafts being pressed together retain it?

Also confusing me is that diagram shows 2 of the large retaining collars #16 & #18...?

My car also doesn't have the #17 toothed washer. It is shown between the two retaining collars...do I need this and where does it go?

I need someone to make sense of this for me please. Since my car is an '88 I double checked that in regards to driveshaft there should be no difference early to late '88.

1) I need dust cover correct?
2) Where is it installed exactly?
3) Same 2 questions about the toothed washer.

Alright I got my answers from a video abour e36 shafts but they're almost identical. Turns out I am missing two dust covers, one is supposed to go on before the bearing with the flat side toward bearing, and the other installed after the bearing and retained by c clip. Don't be like me and assume your old parts were assembled correctly. Now I get the fun of trying not to destroy my new bearing to do it all over again.

I still don't know about the toothed washer, anyone familiar with it?
