Looking to find out exact production of small vs big guibo

    http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...43&hg=26&fg=05

Ok just to clear this up:
so all etas up to 6/86 production, and all 325i cars from 9/87 and on are small guibo...correct?

Im guessing all the small guibo driveshafts are going to be the same since the distance from the CSB to the diff is obviously the same, and the tail housing/harmonic balancer to CSB is the same, right?

    Inquiring minds need to know!

That's mostly correct. There's no EXACT answer to the question but it seems that most of the cars that have them were the 87 Eta and some 88 Super Etas (but not all 88 cars).

According to realOEM...ETA's produced 5/86 - on. 325iX transfer box. All M3's and 325iC's. I cross referenced the 26-11-7-511-454 part number for E30's that used the large guibo.

my 04/87 build ETA has an original large guibo ETA trans and matching original large guibo Driveshaft

between large guibo and small guibo G260 and matching driveshaft, only the triangle junction @ transmision is the same. one can swap the transmission output triangle from small size to large size triangle output if desired; its factory designed to be swappable
        OBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25

Z4 non powered steering rack fits e30

        Euro e46 2005/6 320d 6mt gearbox into E30 with M20 hardy and beck 1985 327s engine

Are you saying 325ic's have large output flanges?

            My mistake, it's 5/86 - on.

JW325iC...according to realoem, yes. Do a part number search for the large guibo.
