    Clutch Lube Recommendations?

Hey guys, I was looking through the BMW service manual and it recommends lubing the TOB/release fork/pivot pin with Molykote Longterm 2 grease. It looks like the stuff is hard to come by, at least in a small tube. What do you use to lube your clutch components?

One person that generally seems to know their stuff recommended silver anti-seize paste, although that is what I usually use on my exhaust fasteners.

I did manage to get some Esso Unirex S2 grease for the input shaft splines, so at least that matches the service manual's recommendation.

Most any grease will work for this. I use synthetic wheel bearing grease.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

clutch lube, SURE just smear and grease all over the flywheel, to keep it well lubed. this works well when brakes SQUEAL, just smear the rotors with as much grease as you can !!!

If that's the same recommendation as for the iX front driveshaft splines, Dow Corning Molykote BR2 is readily available in tubes from McMaster-Carr.

I got moly lube for clutch assembly from the parts window at a honda dealer.

          It was not cheap.

Thanks guys. There's a big tube of Molykote BR2 coming from McMaster, along with a bunch of other stuff I needed.
