yepp. the clutch should say "gearbox side" printed on it. That side faces the gearbox/ transmission.

Hmm it doesn't say on the clutch. My guess is the side that's sticking out should face the tranny and the flat side should face the engine. Or em I wrong?

Just a quick update. When I installed my m20 starter and went to crank it. The starter spins freely. What did I do wrong??
