The car won't even go into 1,2,3,4,5,R, it looks to be in neutral and won't go into any gear. But the car is in reverse if you turn on the car. I am most certain it is not inside the transmission. I went under the car but I couldn't figure out what's wrong. :(

Start the car with the clutch in, keep the clutch in and try to work the gears.

Do what I said earlier and you will be able to tell in the problem in the shifter or in the transmission.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

The car wont go into any gear even with a lot of force.

But you need to determine if it is a shift linkage issue or a transmission issue. Do as Jim had stated.

My transmission doesn't move into any gear! It just wiggles around in neutral but the tranny thinks it's in reverse. -.-

How am I supposed to answer your question if I can't go to 1,2,3,4,5,R? If I can't go to and see if the selector rod moves that attaches to the transmission.

Well if you can't get someone to move the shifter while you go under the car to see if anything is moving/broken how are we supposed to help you?

Should still go into gear turned off without touching the clutch. Also wouldn't be "stuck" in any gear.

sounds like the tranny/ synchro went out. Happened to my buddy and we ended up having to replace it

It happened in front of my old house and I got tired driving full blocks in reverse to move it for street cleaning days. :P

I HAD a clutch stop but I took it out when it got stuck in reverse thinking maybe that might have been the problem.

And dude that sucks. My car broke down about two miles from my house and for a second I was debating on driving it home in reverse.

When G260's go bad this is what happenes. Most cases they were dry.
                                1. jack the car up and support it on jack stands and then let the car run in reverse to warm up the tranny. (give it some revs and make it whine) Cut it off when it gets good and warm
                                2. remove the front half of the drive shaft
                                3. remove the shift selector rod
                                4. Open the filler screw and stick your finger in it to feel for fluid. If you don't feel shit then open the drain and look for metal shavings.
                                5. if its dry or has nasty ass fluid, go buy some redline ATF and fill that sucker up.
                                6. Trun the car back on but make sure the output flange of the tranny is clear of obstruction. Let the tranny warm up again reving it and circulating the fluid around. This will lubricate the stuck reverse gear/sychro and hopefully allow you to knock it out of gear. Turn it off when it gets good and warm

                                7. take a hammer and give the selector bolt a good lesson or two and this should knock it out of reverse.

Reassemble and you should be good to drive around in all of your forward gears. I've had luck enough to use reverse again but if I were you I would never put the car in reverse till I got another tranny.

also, to get into gear with a bad synchro I would have to shut the car off and then put it in gear. start it back up and go.

***cliff notes, buy a new transmission and install it.
