Okay so this guy is selling his manual tranny from his 89 525i for a decent price, including everything needed pedal assembly, drivetrain, clutch etc but i have a 89 325i. would this fit? Seller claims it will but i just wanted to check here if it would? By the way my 325 is automatic if that helps at all. thanks!

The only thing that will work is the transmission, flywheel, clutch.
Pedals, shifter, driveshaft are all totally different. -

What other parts exactly would i need? Mounting of tranny should be fine right? Just pedals, shifter and driveshaft then? Everything else from e34 should be fine i'm assuming?Comment

I just told you the ONLY things from the E34 that will work are the trans, clutch, and flywheel.
Every other thing needs to be from an E30. The parts are easy to source and relatively cheap.Comment
