    rackdoctor rack swap

I did a stock 325i swap with a remanu rack from rackdoctor. I had it aligned afterwards. I noticed now I have a wider turning radius. Could this be from the rack or tie rods?

Wider one way? Or both directions?

Assuming you did not change anything else and depending on where you put the subframe spacers (think bump steer) the rack should not effect radius at all. Either way an alignment should bring it back to spec. The only other variable I can think of is if you used a 95 M3 rack which is progressive and I believe all the M3 racks have the stops in a different place due to wider tires.

Rich (the Rack Dr) should be able to clear that up for you.
