Hey guys, I work at napa and while yes we do have some superior parts, half shafts are not one of them. They are rebuilt by cardone just like autozone. Imo they are hit and miss. yea we sell em but I woudnt put em on a modded vehicle. I have found a guy that does lots of e30's and he is decent priced. Uses beefier parts too.

All I can say is....do NOT bother with Cardone axles.

I bought a set at O'Reilly's when I was building my car a couple of years ago, and I ran into every single problem mentioned in the above thread. I had to return them twice: first set had splines that had obviously been beat on with a hammer, and the second set's splines were worn so flat that they wouldn't even begin to fit into the hub. The third set was the same as the second, but by then I gave up and decided to break out the file. Two hours later, I finally managed to get them to fit without excessive force.

I bought them well after that e30tech thread was started (wish I had seen it before), but apparently Cardone still has not bothered to fix the problem, even after one of their reps posted in the thread claiming that they would.

      Never again.
