Hey everyone, I replaced my clutch a few weeks ago and put about 1000 miles on it with no issues. I then did a small trip from Boise, Idaho to Denver, Colorado area. Halfway through the trip I noticed that my clutch felt weird (this was when I was driving through town and actually shifting.) It would engage lower than usual and with each press of it it would drop further, to the point of where the actual pedal range was only a few inches, if even that.
The clutch still engages fine, but the actual point where it goes from disengaged to engaged is very small. Could that be the slave cylinder? It also seems to go on and off with the issue, I pushed it multiple times in and out and it seemed to firm up, but then it went back to a very short range. The pedal will spring back up mostly on it's own,, sometimes with a bit of help, so doesn't that rule out the master cylinder? It's all free play with no pressure from that point on though. I just don't want my clutch to have more issues since I need my car running well. Thanks.
