    Driveshaft question

So my driveshaft is unbalanced... Which is awesome. Idk if I want to spend $1000 on rebuilding it and cost of labor (since my living arrangements have recently changed). I do want to engine swap in the future when my living situation is more stable and I can actually work on my car. So my question is should I jut wait (while my car slowly deteriorates) or should I just suck it up and put the money into it now while sparing some parts from damage.
Looking to go m5x in the future, if I were to use a zf transmission could use an e30 driveshaft or would I have to convert the rest of rear drivetrain to e36?
I was also thinking of just pulling one out at a pick n pull and just hope that it's not messed up. It'll still cost since a shop would do it but it would be way more of a budget thing.
I see my options, I'm just not sure which one is best for the long run. Just hoping for some input on my situation.

junkyard is a gamble, sometimes you luck out, i found a rebuilt one and walked out paying $35 including the heat shield and crossmember. So you should go for it

My $60 eBay driveshaft felt a bit notchy but it's working fine. They shouldn't really go out of balance unless one of the weights comes off or a u-joint is bad, so you might be able to inspect it to some degree.

That sounds like your paying the scrap value for that driveshaft. Haha did you buy off an individual used?
I'm thinking of pick n pull unless I hear otherwise
