Potential differential problem, help me figure it out - please and thank you.

The issue: when taking hard right turns or trying to slide, the car violently "hops". It feels forcewise as if i was pulsing the throttle foot off to floored. The car jerks pretty hard.

The otherday when trying to exit a steep driveway at a serious angle my right wheel was elevated and the car would not go anywhere as if something was binding.

Inspection of cv boots shows no rips or tears. Free of cv grease.

There is no audible issue coming from the rear end. No clicking when turning.

    Fresh fluid

PO says its a 3.9 diff and is NOT welded.

Car hooks both wheels in a straight line.

Bc racing coilovers set to full soft, upgraded rsb.

    What say you r3v?

If you lift one driving wheel off the ground, you lose drive traction. It's one of the
in- built limitations of a differential. So don't sweat that too much...

Wheelhop is usually insufficient damping for that sort of shenanigans, and
the rear trailing arms seem to do it a lot, at least in every street iteration I've driven.

How stiff are those springs in back?

now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves

Im not sure the spring rates on them, they're pretty darn stiff tho.

Someone has suggested to me rear subframe bushings which i hadnt though about. Im going to inspect them this evening.
