    168 side flange seals

Does anyone have part numbers for aftermarket seals for the side flanges on a 168MM small case differential. Pinion seal too if you have it. Not sure if it matters, but I have both M10 318i diffs and E36 318ti diffs.

    kaco?
    timken?
    skf?

    Cheers

you don't normally have part numbers for seals when dealing with aftermarket parts. You just give them the seal dimensions.

FYI, you will need a new crush sleeve if you remove the pinion to change the seal. Also, I found the part numbers here:

those are the OEM parts numbers, not part numbers from any of the usual companies that do bearings and seals like what was asked above. Most of the time places you get the aftermarket ones from have no way to cross check OEM part numbers either, so it's easy to just give them the dimensions of the seal (which you can usually find in the ETK).

Thanks! I found these and they are to spec as far as dimensions go - no idea about quality. Might try anyway.

Try Rockauto. They will usually give you the application and the dimension, too
