Auto -> 5-speed swap. Starter question

I'm swapping the 5-speed Getrag box from my '86 325e parts car, into my '87 325is Automatic.

Can I use the starter that came on the 325is Auto? It's physically in much better shape, lower mileage, and would save me the hassle of pulling the starter from my parts car.

Flywheel from the 5-speed is a single mass:

Yes you can use the starter! No difference between auto and manual.

There is also no difference between the M20b27 and M20b25?

It might look different, but It works the same. The i starter winding housing is likely a larger diameter. In my opinion, the newer style starter is better as well.
