    Need help with clutch problem

Throwout bearing failed. Replaced clutch, throwout bearing, clutch slave and master cylinder. bled my slave and master cylinder til clear fluid came out. The clutch pedal is still spongy, and the engagement is at the bottom of the floor. Also, the transmission will go into gear when the car is running, like the clutch pedal is engaged, and when I press the brake pedal, the car stalls out. I'm at my troubleshooting plateau. Can anyone give me some ideas.

The bleed screw is on the bottom of the slave cylinder. I take mine off and stick it in a clamp with the bleed screw facing up to get all the air out. This should take care of the spongy feel.
Now.... did you compare the height of the ears on the throw out bearings to make sure you got the right one?

I couldn't compare throwout bearings, the old one was destroyed. I took the slave off, and pushed in the rod to bleed it out. I'll try pushing in the rod a it more

Took the slave off, bled it out. The pedal has zero pressure now. I'm extremely frustrated with this system right now

            yes, they can be bitchy.

once you get ANY pedal, just cycle the clutch- a lot.
            they will eventually self- bleed.

Check the clutch pedal assembly for cracks and make sure the clutch return spring is seated in right position on the pedal assembly. I just went through the same thing with the clutch being on the floor and only a cm of clutch travel. The clutch spring was trying to punch a hole in the firewall. The clutch master cylinder would flex/bend when the clutch pedal was pushed in and not allow the pushrod to operate as it should because of the cracked pedal assembly.
