stripped the top bolt on the transmission...suggestions?

in the middle of doing my manual swap I got every bolt out to drop out the trans except for the top driver side. I managed to get a socket finally on it but it eventually stripped. I believe my only option right now is to drop the engine and trans to try to get that bolt out.
