    1990 325i clutch noob

    Hello I'm new to the car game and my clutch went out. Going to have a friend help me replace it and would like some suggestions on brands and specific items needed for this project. I have a 1990 325i M50B25tu bolted to an E36 M3 transmission. Any specific brands or clutch's I should consider and what exactly do I need for this?

    Maybe post in the drivetrain section or better yet run a quick search that will tell you everything you need to know and more.

      wrong section, do you even know what it has in it now? unless your trying to set a land speed record, get whatever is cheap, sachs, etc

          Match the flywheel/starter to the clutch.
          Go take a look at what starter you have, that'll tell you the flywheel. Then get the appropriate e30 or e36 clutch kit

            Agreed, you'll need to see what's in the car. As a general rule I prefer Sachs though.
