The E32 one will fit the E30 chassis but it is offset (mounting) and wont work correctly, but the e36 center support is much more robust looking at a pic of it, and is in the center of the mounting points. Does anyone know from hearsay or experience a better one than the thin, flimsy ones that you get from say autohausaz? The MTC brand for example.
Alternative center support that is sturdier?

Plenty of people use the stock E30 one without issues at well above stock power. If yours is continuously failing, it is probably a symptom of another issue, and not the cause.
Also, I think the switch to the offset CSB was 09/1987, or so says RealOEM, so if your car is later than that, you should be looking to keep the offset the same.Originally posted by priapismMy girl don't know shit, but she bakes a mean cupcake.Originally posted by shamesonUsually it's best not to know how much money you have into your e30Comment

I have done the hack approach by using
Weatherstrip adhesive to attach some rubber vacuum hose to the cavity to reinforce it . Hasn't failed yet....
