CSB Bolts?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but, looking at the RealOEM schematic for the CSB, part #11 - the bolt that holds the CSB to the chassis - appears to be NLA:

Any suggestions on what I should use to replace it?

reuse them or some other M8x22/25 8.8 bolt

I don't think a regular bolt will work as these slide into a t-slot type track on the bottom of the car.

But I personally would just reuse the originals or if you don't have them, get some off a parts car. They are used on e21s, e30s, e28s, e24s and e23s, according to realoem.

Also, don't go off of the information on realoem for NLA or not. They are not accurate. Unless a parts supplier said they can't get it, I'd check first and see if you can.

It's because the diagram is wrong. The e30 has a threaded hole in the body use a regular 8mm hex bolt like the ones used on the heat shields. Parts #2, 3 and 4...

this is correct. the sliding track bolts are used to secure the transmission crossmember and maybe one of the factory exhaust hangers. they are not for the CSB

also not that it's relevant to what OP needs but those track T bolts are definitely still available. i just ordered a few from FCP euro about a month ago.

Oh that's right. I knew there were the sliding rails, but it's been a while since I've been under and E30.
