ok i replaced the input shaft seal and would like to know what i can use to seal the cover back on, bently says to use loctite 523 or somethin like that, i dont have any of that. would it be alright to use some high temp silicone? or should i go out and get something else, if so what?

where would i be able to find some locally, i asked about silicone because i didnt know if that would be an equivilant or notYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

not bad, just undo the 4 bolts that hold the cover on and pull it off, then pry out the old seal and force the new one in there, the hardest part was probly gettin the new one it, i used a hammer and a sharpie marker to push it in there.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
