alright well about 5 weeks ago i decided that i had all the parts i needed and had enough time to go ahead and do my clutch, i started friday afternoon and decided that i would take my time and make a weekend out of it...
so i throw it up in the air as high as i can get it and start goin to town removing everything that needs to come out. then i get to the clutch slave cylinder where i find:

as well as the "pin"
so at this point i figure you know this pushes me back till monday, so i shoot patrick an email and order a new slave and keep working. i get the trans out and i look at the clutch and i see a little plastic ring and i look at the TOB and the piece that spins is just wobblin around. unfotunately for pictures sake i shoved the ring back into the TOB so theres no good pic of how shit this thing was. the ring goes on the inside of it.

and this is what came out of the car

alright well at this point patrick and i are sending messages back and forth and i wont be getting my slave till about thursday...
alright... work continues on i go get my flywheel resurfaced at car quest machine shop and i bring it back and its a damn beautiful site

alright so thursday comes around and i get my slave and my new flywheel bolts so i put that bad boy up there on the motor and i put on my new clutch:

now here comes the humor of the whole ordeal,
this is the slave cylinder and flywheel bolts

this is the box they came in

this is the side to side

that is all that came in that box (end of pictures)
so now ive got all that i need to finish this up, so i do it, i believe i got it all in by that sunday and i fired it up just to make sure itd run and went to sleep
next morning i keep driving the car id been driving the last week cause im very cautious when i do big work on my car and wanted to be able to drive it around the neighborhood a while first. so i get home and start it up and rev it a few times and i feel an bit of a heavy shake. sooo i spend the next two days trying to find anything thats wrong and by friday i gave up and decided that it was indeed the flywheel, damnit...
so here we are on monday or so SPRING BREAK WOO, now im faced with riping that whole thing apart again (the first time it took me about 4 hours to get the tranny out) so i get to work on it and have it out in about an hour and i head out to car quest again to check if they balanced it and they said
" we dont balance anything here, it should be fine though because we took off an equal amount of material all the way around, anyway youd have to take out your crank to get it balanced"
so at this poin i know this guy is a dumbass so i go on the hunt for a different machine shop and find one. T Hoff, they tell me they can have it balanced by thursday as they have something on the machine already, so i say sure , they also said theyd balance the pressure plate at the same time, coolio, so i pay the 60 bucks and then thursday comes i pick it up and head off to jacksonville nc to see killswitch engage, then off to emerald isle for the rest of the weekend
/spring break
its on now i start throwin stuff on there and by tuesday im ready to start with the tranny and it just wont go in, i get it to about a half inch away from being done then no dice, i try this for the next day or so readjusting the clutch everytime then giving up for the day after i got tired. so thursday rolls around after getting sugestions from here i look around and see the starter was poking through its hole in the sheetmetal "gasket", i push it back and bam in goes the tranny. then after that i out it all back together
/story
so its been about a week or more since then and ive been enjoying my clutch, its a little rough in first gear a little shaky and such, it really seems like the damn thing is on or off and when engaging from a stop it goes from on to off alot
past the dead stop startups its all gravy
